“Jina has a special way of hearing. Her compositions are always instantly recognizable as “hers.” She has a great sense of a film’s storyline, and also finds unique colors and musical gestures that has let her music stand out to all the faculty that have worked with her.”
“Jina is a wonderful spirit who shows a warmth and passion in her music. It is very appropriate that she is the Georges Delerue Award winner. Georges Delerue’s music always had a lyrical and passionate depth to it, and Jina’s music has elements in the same style which bring out the touching, heartfelt emotions in a scene.”
